Nicolas Grymonprez - Can't Wait (2022)

CAN'T WAIT is the first album of trombonist Nicolas GRYMONPREZ. In 2021, he founded the "GRYM'S JAZZ TROMBONE PROJECT" with the desire to bring together multiple experiences around the Trombone. The disappearance of Manu Dibango in March 2020 impacts Nicolas in more ways than one. Dozens of concerts alongside this fabulous saxophonist and singer of "World Jazz", the trombonist derives an enriching experience in his career as a side-man, magical memories, the joy of playing, the desire to share and the audacity even to dare to scat during concerts! He then founded GRYM'S JAZZ TROMBONE PROJECT with Jacinto Carbajal and Sébastien Dewaele and decided to burn part of his stage collaborations on CD. Among these, we find Sylvia Howard, Dany Doriz, Aurélie Tropez, Philippe Milanta, Claude Egea, and François Thuillier and a novelty: a string quartet.
