The real mystery about Will Johns is how come he's not famous? He plays great blues guitar, is a tremendous singer and delivers a stunning stage performance. He's certainly rooted in Rock Aristocracy, which coupled with his undoubted talent should have delivered him to the main stage a long time before he attained his 39th Birthday. Will was born to record producer and engineer Andy Johns [Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones 'Exile on Main Street'] and his model actress wife Paula Boyd, delivering to Will a set of uncles beyond imagination - record producer Glyn Johns [Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Who], George Harrison and Eric Clapton. Will's cousin is Mick Fleetwood. In his 15 year career, Will Johns has played with Joe Strummer,, Jack Bruce and Ronnie Wood and formed the band Glyda with Ronnie's son. Now, finally, he's performing under his own name, taking inspiration from his heritage, whilst clearly putting his own unique stamp on things. To the great British rock blues tradition that includes Eric Clapton,, Mick Taylor,, Peter Green and Mark Knopfler, the name of Will Johns can now be added.
