Andrea Laszlo De Simone - Immensità (2019)

Consider the Immensity. Surely the readers of Blaise Pascal who linked so eloquently the infinitely large and infinitely small would fall in love with this music, a rather modest project. Only 25 minutes of music with four songs: Immensità (“Immensity”), La Nostra Fine (“Our End”), Mistero (“Mystery”), and Conchiglie (“Seashells”). The songs are linked to one another by short instrumentals in an unique suite: a prelude, three interludes and a conclusion. The notion of time being circular, the idea of rebirth are inside this Album, something “eternal” as “grotesque”, like the style of ornamentation which was popular with Italian artists in the 15th and 16th century. The same fine characteristics, the same science of colors, the same sense of harmony, accurate indeed.
