Quaternaglia - Down The Black River (2022)

Down The Black River is an album of classical (instrumental) compositions by Sergio Molina, performed by the guitar quartet Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet, in formations that also involve piano (participation by Rogério Zaghi) and string orchestra (conducted by Emiliano Patarra). The four works presented here (one of them in 3 movements) are the result of a collaboration between composer and performers, based on commissions from the Hill Festival of Round Top (TX), in the United States, over more than a decade.
