It's a great idea placing the wind serenade between the two string serenades; thus maintaining a good balance to the over all programme. The performance, by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, is spectacular in every way; played with ideal phrasing with good articulation throughout. The opening allegro, from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, seems a little vigorous here, but nevertheless convincing. The digital sound is well balanced throughout with good presence.
