In the era of digital polishing and patchwork in the studio, it's becoming increasingly rare to hear records that capture the dynamics of lightning-fast live performances. Music enriches our lives, but it lacks humanity, so any record that breaks through that situation would be a big discovery. Introducing the scratched art punk in San Francisco's lip room. After a successful self-release and tour of the two EPs, the three-piece returned to Louder Studios in Grass Valley, California and reunited with renowned engineer Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses, Melvins, Bikini Kill, Sebadoh). I played. The result is a charismatic, fascinating and unpredictable debut album,'Alight and Resound'. While these twelve pulsing songs are reminiscent of a better musical era, they also embrace the current relevance. Think of Unwound, Sleater-Kinney, and Fugazi. It has a pulsating rhythm and piercing lyrics, but it also has a floating feeling. Freewheeling rather than mediocre. A wolf in sheep's skin.
