Jorge first achieved widespread fame through his collaborations with Warren Zevon (he played on all but one of Warren s post-1976 albums and was co-writer and producer of his last album, The Wind), but just prior to joining up with Zevon he cut this fine solo album of eclectic, tuneful, Southern California-styled rock, to which we ve added a fresh remastering and notes by Gene Sculatti featuring quotes from Jorge himself! Studio aces Waddy Wachtel, Willie Weeks and Jim Keltner are here, too.
