Masaaki Suzuki poursuit ses enregistrements consacrés à Johann Sebastian Bach avec cet album de musique purement instrumentale. À côté de son interprétation très vivante des trois Concertos pour 2 clavecins est proposée la transcription pour 2 clavecins seuls par son fils Masato Suzuki de l'Ouverture (Suite pour orchestre) n° 1, qui a le but avoué d'inventer "ce que Bach aurait pu lui-même réaliser". Une hypothèse de travail pour se faire plaisir (et nous avec) et qui enrichit du même coup l'univers à deux claviers du Kantor.
