The Oblivion Seekers - Spirit of America (1993)

Second release from mix and match group centered around Mark Sten. His projects include members of other Portland area bands(M99,44 long, Dharma Bums, etc.). A mix of seminal(50's) rock, doo-wop, no depression-type tunes. Nice vocal harmonies, haunting melodies, lyrics tough/no nonsense as on Prison Blue, No Tears, and You Don't Owe the World a Thing, and heart-stirring as on Magic, and Two Hearts.
