One of Timewarp Music’s favourite and supporting music producers, Zamali, is making his comeback in our label!
Broken Patterns is the latest release from Belgium based Zamali! It is a seven track release that definitely showcases how Zamali’s music style has progressed and evolved during the past years!
With a rich discography in his bio, Zamali decides to take it to the next level with Broken Patterns. The maturity of his style is evident even from the opening track of the release, Raclette. A genius funky yet downtempo, beat making, trip hop track perfect for the introduction to the rest of the release.
Track two, Never Again escalates to a more beat making funk groove maintaining though a downtempo chill vibe while featuring wicked scratches from DJ Paul Sitter! From track 3 and onwards the serious funk is heard! Soulful vocals, dirty horn sections and wicked baselines! Always with a touch of a hip hop splash, something that Zamali really likes in his productions! Track five and six, Kings & Queens and Chicago Soul introduces an Afro and blues sense which are harmonically mixed with the funky sounds! Track seven, Solar Quest closes the EP in a true natural groovy vibe!
