The young clarinettist Carolin Renner presents with “Zeitgeschichten” her PASCHENrecords debut with varied repertoire of the early 20th Century. Together with fellow artists she lets listeners dive into music which mirrors the clarinet’s varied character and colours in a special way. She manages in both the solo and chamber music pieces to play with these colours and to embed them into her interpretation of the works.

The special and at the same time introductory pièce de resistance is quite possibly the Suite from Igor Stravinsky’s “Histoire du Soldat.” Here you can look forward to probably the first recording of the trio with German text narration.
