This album acts as a soundtrack to the PBS special of the same name which aired nationally in March. Harry's 1st album in 15 years includes such memorable songs as "Day-O (The Banana Boat Song"), "Island in the Sun," "Kwela (Listen to the Man)" and "Jamaica Farewell," plus 3 new songs. However, what gives the album its breadth is the re-tooling of these classics by an international mix of musicians from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
