It's impossible, really, to capture the scope and breadth of the Band in a single 18-track disc, but this set, originally released in the U.K. in 1998, comes as close as any to doing it. Sequenced much like one of the band's concerts, it has a nice pace and includes key songs like "The Shape I'm In," "It Makes No Difference," "King Harvest," and the crowd-pleasers "Chest Fever" and "Don't Do It." As single discs go, it's one of the best introductions to the Band out there.
