King Crimson is the most versatile being in modern music.
Over the course of fifty years, Robert Fripp's mind was filled with amazing ideas, new sounds were invented, formations on the stage were broken, and drummers gathered. His compositions can reach the heights of absolute lyricism, and then move into the mighty broad sides of metallic dissonances, creating a sonic magma in a continuous evolution. It was right and natural that sooner or later the band would try their hand at transforming these themes into a jazz key.
It took the curious, the bold, the slightly unconscious, and the able to experiment with sounds and styles: the trio of Ferra, Sferra, Dalla Porta with special guest Gianluca Petrella-all this (and much more) and allowed us to dive into the famous and intricate themes of Fripp, searching for his soul and inspiring new journeys on unknown musical paths. They followed the path (or a thousand paths) indicated by the pioneer, became pioneers themselves, and moved Fripp's music to another place.
