Jeremy Warmsley’s ‘American Daydream’ Is A Homage To Brian Wilson And The Beach Boys.
Jeremy Warmsley has laid out plans for new album 'American Daydream'. The songwriter has penned an album of all-original songs about the troubled life of Brian Wilson, and the lasting legacy of his work with the Beach Boys. In Jeremy's own words: "It's an album of original songs about Wilson's troubled life, taking in his mental illness, difficult relationship with his father, and the abusive conservatorship he suffered under, but also celebrating the incredible scope of his genius." Title cut 'American Daydream' opens the album, and it's a reflection of those Beach Boys harmonies; 'Sing From The Heart' meanwhile is something more widescreen, contrasting the beauty of the group's surf sound with their abusive background.
Full album on September 9th, dives full force into the Beach Boys' aesthetic, sharing two brand new songs.
