Our boxset gathering the complete Warner recordings of astoundingly skilled violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann is soon out (September 9th) and his discography will be entirely available in digital! In this 1990 recording, he teams up with violist Tabea Zimmermann to perform the exquisite Sinfonia concertante by Mozart, in which both soloists’ voices intertwine their unforgettable melodies. This album is also an homage to conductor and stage director Gianluigi Gelmetti, a major figure of the classical world, who ran the Radio Sinfonie-Orchester Stuttgart for a long time and passed away one year ago.
