Bobby Merritt - Out Of The Crowd (1969)

Highlights: ‘Centipede Lady’ and ‘Come Sparkle Sunshine’ are cool psychedelic jaunts. ‘Thousand Miles Of Visions’ is full of great instrumentation with doses of sunshine pop and folk rock. The horn inflected ‘Flowers On The Table’ has a passionate vocal delivery that makes it viable. The album closer ‘Poppin Pills’ is a brief strumming acoustic novelty piece.
