Yangfan - Trip Jigsaw (2022)

Yangfan is a multi-instrumentalist and a music producer. She co-founded China's pioneering riot grrrl group "Hang On the Box" at the jaw-dropping age of 15 in the '90s, and then went on to become a cult heroine through her latter career of fronting the psych/garage rock band Ourself Beside Me, and TOW (a duo with Liu Ge, the frontman of The Molds). When she decided to focus more on her solo projects, she also took on the production and engineering roles for some of China's most memorable alternative rock albums (Chui Wan, Hot&Cold, Gong Gong Gong, etc.).

Unfamiliar to some, she is a great composer with an academic background, working on scores for TVs, films and theatre plays since 2011. The essential selection of all her soundtracks and scores of the last decade, which represent her nuanced compositional skills will be a timeless gift leaving long-lasting impact and aftertaste on every music lover.
