The Heavy Hitters Acoustic Project - A Little Bit Closer (2016)

After the unexpected success of the acoustic set during the recently completed European tour with Rock Band “VDELLI”, Michael Vdelli and his contemporaries (Leigh Miller, Marc Raner and Hajo Schüler) have decided to go on the road to showcase their Alternate Persona on acoustic instruments.

As well as performing selected VDELLI material rearranged for the acoustic setting, the group’s repertoire draws from the blues, jazz, rock and roots music.

This is delivered via songs from George Benson, Johnny Cash, The Church, Eric Clapton, Willy de Ville, Foo Fighters, James Taylor, Keb‘ Mo‘, Tom Waits, Tony Joe White always comprising a spontaneous and fun element to the show, inclusive of the audience.
