Chuck’s versatile background allowed him to vocalize in different styles, ranging from R&B and pop to gospel and blues. His seductive rasp was emblematic of his inimitable sound. This quintessential release includes two of Jackson’s finest albums, Any Day Now, and Encore! Both soul masterpieces were originally issued in the early Sixties by the Wand label (a subsidiary of Scepter Records), and have been remastered and packaged together in this very special collector’s edition, which also contains 4 bonus tracks from the same period.
