Assembled by John Hartford from radio tapes left behind by the group, and named for the house where they lived, this 40-minute disc showcases the group's sound better than their official Liberty recordings. There are some instrumentals here, but also lots of songs, showing off their originals, covers of numbers by Bill Monroe and A.P. Carter, and arrangements of traditional tunes ("Our Darling's Gone," etc.). The sound is exceptionally good for early-'60s radio sources, and shows off the degree of sophistication that this group achieved experimenting on their own.
