Born in the Vieille Capitale, Bob Walsh began his career in the 1970s with the groups Contrebande and the Devito Walsh Band. A passionate and indefatigable performer, he has been a fixture in blues clubs and at festivals and concert venues for more than 30 years. A Festival regular with more than 15 appearances since 1984, the bluesman was also behind the major blues blowout marking the Festival's 25th anniversary in 2004. In 2007, he released his eighth CD, titled The Only Soul, followed by Inside I'm All Blue (2010), There's a Story Here (2012) and After the Storm (2015).
