Rbsn - Stranger Days (2022) [Hi-Res]

rbsn is multi-instrumentalist Alessandro Rebesani with his adventurous crew. Rebesani hails from Italy, with the privilege of study in London, Leeds, and the San Francisco Bay area at a young age. His songwriting is strongly influenced by contemporary composers, and his background in Jazz gives him flexibility in performance. In 2019 rbsn toured Europe, opening for The Blaze, Anna Calvi, and now follows up his solo EP with a full length album titled Stranger Days, due out September 30, 2022. Rebesani describes the album as a blend of Jazz and Pop, with a touch of psychedelia, but it easy to find traces of R & B and Neo-soul in the mix.

The crew is Federico Romeo on Drums, Benjamin Ventura on Wurli-Piano, Daniel Ventura on Sax and Flute, and Adriano Matcovich on Bass. plus special features Carlotta Naima Adams and James Chatburn.

The opening single is the title track Stranger Days. Written between Rome and California, Stranger Days is focused on the individual human experience and on how time interacts with it. Time is in fact altered in the storytelling of the full length as the protagonist ages a lifetime in an afternoon, growing exponentially to fall and find himself alone. ‘The stranger days are gone for me’ is about realigning after a long time of dissociation, remembering who you truly are and seeing your dissociated self.
