Jimmy Ballero and His Renegade Band are as much a part of New Orleans as red beans and rice and Creole gumbo. He has played and recorded with many New Orleans greats. To name a few of the performers he has played with - The Neville Brothers, The "Funky" Meters, Irma Thomas, and Dr. John. He has also performed with some of Rock & Roll and Blues giants like Taj Mahal, McComb Mississippi's Bo Diddly and Wayne Cochran from Macon, Georgia.
