Funkstar De Luxe - Redemption (2022)

Redemption is the first album in over a decade from Funkstar De Luxe also known as Martin Aulkjær Ottesen. Since his breakthrough in 1999 with the smash hit remix of Bob Marley's Sun Is Shining, Funkstar has remixed numerous big names in the music industry such as Bob Dylan, Grace Jones, Barry White, and Kim Wilde to name a few.

Stepping away from remixing on this album, Funkstar takes the listener on a sonic journey through eight original tracks covering loungy vibes, cinematic moments and of course uptempo funky grooves with a few nods to early inspirations like Kraftwerk and Vangelis.
