In 9 songs and 50 minutes, Nicolicio articulates an ambitious story in the key of indie rock. Personal stories strung together in verbose metaphors, accompanied by instrumentation that oscillates between the power of '90s rock and the warmth of chamber folk, structure the narrative of Bildungsroman; a journey where the intimate is transformed into expansive and raw mythology. Between shouts and whispers - and triumphs and defeats -, Nicolicio's new full-length requires his audience to open their ears and dare to discover an inclement, devastating and calculatedly honest world; a theater of deep sensitivity, of fatalism but, finally, of hope.
