Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet - Pusto Noc (2022) Hi Res

Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet has been successfully fulfilling its modern jazz vision, drawing inspiration from both folk and avant-garde motifs. Excellent reviews of the two albums released by the band strengthen the position of the quartet on the jazz market, both in Poland and abroad. The quartet has performed over 80 concerts in 8 countries.

Puste Noce: a ritual of singing songs during a wake for the deceased. Traditionally, the ritual was attended by relatives and friends. The CD contains 7 compositions based on lamentations sung at the Puste Noce. The compositions were recorded during field research in Kashubia.
