This album is dedicated to the memory of my mentors, the late Horace Clarence Boyer and Fran Carol Maniscalco, who both taught me and helped me to develop musically. They were both gifted singers in gospel music, blues and jazz.
I am very grateful to all of the talented musicians who have contributed to this album and who inspire me to be a better musician myself. It is truly a “bi-coastal album” since it began in Los Angeles with the first 4 tracks and it was completed in New York with the last 4 tracks.

J. Brittany is a singer/songwriter recognized for her soulful voice and witty lyrics. She has performed with her own jazz and blues combos in Nashville, New York and Los Angeles. At the present time, J. Brittany is living in New York and just released her debut independent blues album of original music called, “Bad Boy Blues”.

Recently, J. Brittany has performed as a vocalist with jazz trumpet player, Mike Lewis and jazz drummer, Ian Petillo at the Allegria in Long Beach, NY. J. Brittany is also performing locally in her community with guitarist, Mike Barnett and Benoir and the Long Beach All-Stars.

J. Brittany has performed at the B.B. King Club in Hollywood with her blues band. She also performed at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood with the Martini Jazz Show. In addition to her solo pursuits, J. Brittany was a background singer with the funk band, Slave to Rhythm, in Los Angeles.
