"Just BLU" is all about the beginnings of my influences. From Clapton on the Beano Record to Zeppelin III , Physical Graffiti, early Fleetwood Mac, 10 Years After and BeBop Deluxe. It was all about how those British artists interpreted those American Blues Artists that got me going. It had to come all the way round to get my interest. It was a challenge to not go to the logical places. I mixed it up. It was about meshing my pop sensibilities with creative changes, but with familial Blues turnarounds. I think I have struck a wonderful balance on this record. It is to be featured on Paul Stewarts MyRockRadio Show out of Glasgow, Scotland on 4/6/14.
