Séverin Favriau - Kanun (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2022) [Hi-Res]

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian thriller Kanun (Kanun, la loi du sang). The album features the film’s original music composed by Séverin Favriau (Brothers by Blood, A Bluebird in My Heart). Also included is a track by Nicolas Motte.

Severin has started his musical work as sound designer at 28 years old. During 15 years he has practiced his own storytelling on a lot of different types of international movies ( Author, animation, Drama, Genre movies). His work is recognized by the most importants international film festivals all along these years, and he was nominated severals time by the french awards academy « Les Césars » and the British award academy « BIFA ». After his meeting with the young and prolific french director and writer Jeremie Guez , he started to compose for him. As a natural extension, his musical approach has been obviously influenced by all these years as sound designer , the story and the way of how to narrate it is always the most important matter for him. His music is the story. « We have to do all the sacrifices that the movie deserves , no matter what the music form will be at the end, the only master we can accept is the story».
