From 1971, ‘Fancy Pants’ is a powerful combination of heavy Jazz Funk and Spiritual Jazz. Drummer Bubbha Thomas drives the band on to dizzy heights especially on the ultra- fast cuts like heavy ‘Sorrow Bitterness And Revolution’, the flute led ‘On The Road Home’, the freer ‘Hope’ and the tough ‘Fancy pants’. ‘Song For Praise’ is a beautiful groove. Quality throughout, the CD includes mono versions of the eight pieces.
