This is a delightful collection of some of Fauré's most famous works. I know "Après un rêve" as a vocal song, but this cello solo arrangement is beautiful. All other works are superbly performed, as you would expect from an impressive roster of orchestras, conductors and artists. The "Song of Jean Racine" is especially beautiful.
A truly relaxing hour and a quarter of great music.
