“Producer and live act from Bay Area: EX-HEIR presents 'BODY SCAM', a 10-tracker LP that blasts pure rawness on Electroclash, Minimal Synth and Industrial sounds. Pumping riffs with demonic oscillators, ruthless 707s, and punk vocals with surreal collaborations, this album condenses all into an exploited dance trip on lurid tape saturation and colour that resembles the essence of Body Musick and at the same time, stands on his own vision as EX-HEIR’s aesthetic and discography.” - Filmmaker // Body Musick

The latest sonic installment by EX-HEIR is a pulsating barrage of monotony reflecting the current state of perceived identity "found" in the contagious contemporary use of image and meaning. BODY SCAM’s anti-climatic thrust equally embraces and condemns the reckoning of self realization that teeters on a thread connecting the absurd with the normal. With lyrics that churn the outlying hypnotics and manipulative components of today's socioeconomic structures, there lies a gentle space for exploring the internal frontier that each human navigates and actualizes for one’s self. The ideal becomes pointless. Pointless to a degree of exposing a seeming endless potential.

Invoking shades of Screamers, DAF, Alan Vega, Skinny Puppy and Xorcist- BODY SCAM acts as a response to the perceived and felt chaotic doldrums looming through our modern shape of civilization as seen through a screen. Surrendering the image that is bought and sold by mind as truth, the image that entraps each body in a defining swell of humanity as a whole. The collaborations with Night In Athens, Eva Rose and Caitlin Siegle are testaments to human connexion, an ability to adapt and transform into some unforeseen state of being.
