Because Music has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Top Dogs (Les Cadors). The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex Beaupain (Beloved, Sophie’s Misfortunes, Making Plans for Lena, Brillantissime). Also included is the original song Cadors written and performed by Catherine Ringer

Known for his clever wordplay and wistful love songs, singer/songwriter Alex Beaupain is a star in his native France and has often worked with one of that country's more daring filmmakers, Christophe Honoré.

Top Dogs is co-written and directed by Julien Guetta and stars Jean-Paul Rouve, Michel Blanc and Grégoire Ludig. The movie revolves around two long-estranged brothers from Normandy who bond when one of them becomes involved in sleazy activities. The dramedy is opening in French theaters today.
