Canadian guitarist Joey Landreth is back with his second solo album, Hindsight, which follows the 2017 release, Whiskey. Landreth is best known for his work with the JUNO award winning band The Brothers Landreth. Hindsight features nine tracks and is co-written and co-produced by Roman Clarke. The album is guitar driven and features a mesh of different styles.

Hindsight kicks off with “Forgiveness,” which features a great groove and some fuzzy slide guitar. “Cryin” was released as a single recently and is about a friend that always seems to be involved with the wrong person. Many of the songs on Hindsight are about looking back on past relationships, which makes Hindsight an appropriate album title. “Where Did I Go Wrong” features more of Joey’s great slide work and is another example as is the acoustic single “Dangerous Heart” and “Letting You Go,” which is more of a pop rock track with a really cool vibe.

Landreth is a triple threat artist with his stellar guitar playing, smooth vocals, and songwriting prowess. Hindsight isn’t the longest album in the world at 35 minutes, but all the material is strong and well produced. Landreth is touring the album in the UK/Europe throughout the spring and summer.
