Push the Sky Away is the fifteenth studio album by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on February 18, 2013 through the band's own label, Bad Seed Ltd.

Push the Sky Away was recorded between 2011 and 2012 at La Fabrique Studios in a 19th century mansion in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France, directed by Nick Lonet, producer of Nocturama, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus and Dig, Lazarus, Dig!, as well as Grinderman and Grinderman. The album cover was created by French photographer Dominique Issermann and features The Bad Seeds frontman Nick Cave and his wife Susan Beek.

The first single from Push the Sky Away, "We No Who U R", was released by the band's own label, Bad Seed Ltd. December 3, 2012.

Nick had this to say about the album: “I'm so excited about it. It doesn't sound like something the Bad Seeds have done before. He is really good. Really very, very handsome. This is not a ballad recording. It doesn't sound like the classic Bad Seed ballads. And she's far from Grinderman and all that." The musician also did not fail to pay respect to his band: "I enter the studio with a few ideas, shapeless dolls and Bad Seeds turn them into amazing things!". According to Cave, his songs were inspired by his travels on the Internet and in particular Wikipedia, which he called "universal memory".

Push the Sky Away was included in the vast majority of lists of the best albums of 2013, among those who recognized it as such - the editors of the authoritative magazine The Atlantic Wire.
