The Telstars - Orbiting (1974)

Without a doubt the most outstanding Guyanese Group presently on the musical scene. Led by Aubrey Cummings, a young man of unlimited potential. The Telstars have already made tours to Brazil ^nd the Caribbean Islands. The music featured in this album contains five of the groups own compositions, and the personality mainly responsible for this fine achievement is none other than Monty Douglas a lead vocalist with the group. Other notable personalities with the group are Ray Seales (sax/ vocals), Terry Jervis (Trumpet), Derry Etkins (Organ), Gerald Couchman (Drums), Billy Stephenson (Congos), Colin 'Bumble' Wharton (Bass Guitar) and probably the most dynamic singer in the Caribbean, Phil Dino.
Like our country, the group could be said to have many unexplored resources. With their determination, and your co-operation, success is inevitable for "THE TELSTARS OF GUYANA".
