Leviticus Penner - Hiraeth (2023) Hi Res

What I hope with ‘Hiraeth’ is that it surrounds the listener with a feeling similar to being embraced for the first time. This EP's title is a welsh word that means to experience a nostalgic longing for belonging even if an individual has never experienced that feeling. In shaping this work, I intended to musically create an empathic response to Hiraeth that leaves the listener feeling at home. Each track guilds the listener through a journey of grief, yet simultaneously it feels like someone is walking with you and supporting you through it all.
