Con Alma is the title of the new, and already 3rd album of The New Conrad Miller Trio. It will be released worldwide the 24th of January 2020 on CD and Vinyl, through German record label Mochermusic.
The title refers to a piece of Dizzy Gillespie on his (released in 1954) LP 'AFRO'. It were the early days of Latin Jazz, with jazzy harmonies flavored with South American rhythms. One of the most recognizable trademarks of The New Conrad Miller Trio.
But the most important reason to name their new album 'Con Alma' is the long enduring friendship among the members of the trio, in ‘Music & Soul’.
Early 2018 pianist Coen Molenaar released the CD and LP "Sounding Silence '. Together with Enrique Firpi (drums) and David de Marez Oyens (double-bass) they are ' The New Conrad Miller Trio'.
The album has been received very well internationally which resulted in nice concerts throughout Germany, Poland and Benelux.
