Ross Fairweather - Long Time Coming (2023)

This album represents a long held dream to create something lasting with my music. The songs chosen are personal to me as they relate either to my own experiences or those of my family. Since coming to Merritt I have been supported by an incredible bunch of talented musicians who have opened up opportunities for me or invited me to share a stage with them. My friend and mentor Stuart Emslie, Bobby Garcia, Bud Johnston, Corey Cooper, Robert Bertrand have all been instrumental in helping me achieve a lifelong goal. My most profound thanks goes to my loving wife Dawn Armitage without whom I would have never performed publicly, my immediate family who rally support for every show and my very close friend Jeff Hayward who rekindled my love of playing guitar at a critical crossroad.
