Conceived and founded by the multi-instrumentalist Mario Poletti and by the bassist Fabrizio Carletto, the group, currently considered one of the best Italian ensembles, proposes itself as a reality unique of its kind: a formation of stringed instruments that reinterprets the songs and dances belonging to the culture of the Western Alps in an original and non-folkloric way
