Walter Tore is the creator of Spontobeat and he appears to be the only person in the world who spontaneously creates all his words and music as he goes along in an american roots vibe. Although he uses musicial instruments to do this, he is universes apart from the established music world. Imagine not having a clue as to what will happen when you sit down to play. No rehearsals, no repeating songs, no set lists, no covers, no overdubbing, no requests, no thoughts of beginng or ending, no concerns for acceptance, compromise is not in the vocabulary, and thinking ruins it all instantly.... Walter is driven to sing spontaneous songs and he does so with no knowledge of music theory. Leaving his body, traveling the highways of the universe, and tapping into this endless song experience is what excites him. Spirits take him over and tell their stories through his voice and instruments. He describes it as walking into a big screen movie. In live situations the energy from the audience heavily influences the music. People often comment on how did he know such things about them? He has been doing this for over 50 years and records about 300 full lenght cds a year in a 1 man band format. He truely is a one of a kind artist. Look for some 1 man band cd releases to appear soon as digital downloads.

On this session he left his 1 man band setup and gathered some of his world class musician friends for an intimate afternoon recording session in Spontobeat. This session was a couple days after Walter's annual Tunnel of Dreams Festival that he puts on in his backyard each summer. The vibes were good and this cd presents it all uncut, so the listener can experience how Spontobeat unfolds. The entire session took less than an hour to master from the raw tracks and only a couple hours to record (including studio set up time). Walter's feels akin to sidewalk art(here today-gone tomorrow). He puts his entire being into each song and when it is finished, it is gone forever. New songs never cease to await him and he doubts he will ever get beyond page one of this endless journey. His art reflects life, thus all the warts and bumps are here. No plastic surgery with Spontobeat! Walter is seeking the right person to market his one of a kind approach to the world. Contact him if you are interested.
