I thank Jürg Frey for putting me in touch with the musical group Wandelweiser. This allowed me to discover their music outside of time.
Later, listening to Melaine Dalibert's magnificent album dedicated to the music of Philippakopoulos, the music of this Greek composer imposed itself on me.
Philippakopoulos' music consists of long ranges of silences interspersed with musical breaths. The listener may be taken aback by the apparent starkness of this music. But for the more adventurous among you who will try the experiment, the music of Philippakopoulos will become the perfect medium to refocus you, where each note is like a musical ether: an evidence.
