Count0 - No Sum Win (2023)

Count0 is a project of Ibrahim Alfa Jnr. Following 2022’s critically acclaimed “Count0”, the new album is created using the award winning experimental sound design software starwaves.

"No Sum Win" was produced using only acoustic instruments with starwaves to process and re-sequence their waveforms. The album is comprised of 14 interactions/transitions.

Music is always about the combination of waves. For quantum theory everything, from light to particles, even to music, has a particle-like nature and a wave-like nature. Count0 offers new frequency politics in music which makes listenable that dissonance yields better insights about the power of aesthetic experience than neo-romantic clichés.
