Waves & Waves - Synesthesia (2015)

Waves & Waves is a band from Los Angeles, CA, and is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Matt Saladino and drummer and producer Jake Reed. What began as a film/tv/ambient synth project in 2011 turned in to a wide-ranging collaboration over the following years.

Matt and Jake have been friends and bandmates since they formed their high school band in 2000. They both moved to Los Angeles in 2009, Jake completing his PhD in drums at USC, and Matt following dreams of creating film/background music. After they began working together on one-off recording projects, they developed a more formal collaboration and released an ambient album in 2012 (Oceans), and a Synth Pop/Electro-Pop album in 2015 (Synesthesia).
