A statement of emotional liberation set to music, I Love You...Me chronicles Cherokee's abusive relationship with her former husband and creative partner. Musically, the album is a excellent blend of slick hip-hop and smooth '70s-style soul, but it suffers a bit from buried vocals and meandering melody lines.
