After participating in tribute concerts for Povel Ramel last year, Jenny Almsenius decided to record an entire album of his songs.
"My view is that many people from my generation and younger do not know what a musical genius Povel Ramel was and what a huge range his song catalog has," says Jenny, who on April 14 will release "Medan natten sänkte sin sett".
Singer, harmonica player and songwriter who has worked in show, singer-songwriter pop, blues and jazz. Has previously released two albums with own material, "Sånt som briner" (2011) and "Hjärtat slån mot asphalten" (2016). Over the years, she has collaborated with, for example, David Ritschard, Peter LeMarc and Stefan Sundström.
