This is a live album entitled 'Circle Point' featuring the performance of Kang Tae-Hwan and Kang Haejin, who strengthened the finale of the IAP Collabo Stage, Sep 22, 2019.
The seclusion and coexistence of the sound by two instruments, the saxophone (Kang Tea Whan) and the violin (Kang Hae Jin ), make up a huge narrative. The performance, complete improvisation, lasted 50 minutes without pause. 'Circle' means the energy of the performers, and 'Point ' means elements which compose the stage; audience, space and time.
Kang Tae-hwan, a leading free jazz saxophone player in Korea, has left numerous performances and records from the 70s to the present.
Kang Hae-jin is a violinist of the progressive rock group Superstring and is also active in the pre-music field.
