Reiner Honeck, who has been the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic for many years and is also famous as a conductor. Mozart and Beethoven's secret pieces performed at regular concerts with the Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo, the predecessor of the Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra, where he has served as chief conductor since 2017. Includes two Mozart Rondo performances as a soloist, and a string ensemble version of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 based on Honeck's original arrangement.
Although it is a chamber orchestra, the heavy, dense and rich tones make the work stand out even more, and the excellent ensemble that has been highly evaluated since the early days of the activity is being listened to. Please enjoy this fulfilling piece with the scent of good old Europe.
