The latest and higher sound quality of Mozart's competition board by the leading players who led SKD until the early 1960s and the German work collection by Peter Damm!

This album consists of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante K.297b (Anh.C14.01) centered on Staatscapelle Dresden's chief woodwind players until the 1960s, and SKD's horn centered on Peter Damm in 1983. This is a new coupling of three German works from the section album (the Japanese title is "Romantic Horn Works", excluding the horn of Saint-Saens and small pieces for concerts for orchestra, except for Mozart. The SACD hybrid version was released in 2004. Mozart is one of SKD's most famous performances, which is a sequel to the project "Mozart: Concerto for Wind Instruments (0301781BC)" reprinted in April 2021. Was mainly recorded by the main wing members of the 1970s, and this 1961 recording is one generation ago. Even though it was just the time when monaural recording was switched to stereo recording, the famous engineer C. Shu The recording with the clear and symphonic core of the horn is still in excellent condition even in modern times, and it can be said that it is a valuable material that conveys the traditional tone of SKD that continues at that time to us today. Just the year before the recording The mellow command of Switner, who became the chief conductor in Japan, is also wonderful. In addition, this jacket is the same as the "Symphony for Flute and Harp" recorded in 1975, which was a coupling. As mentioned above, this song has already been released on another album (0301781BC), so it is not included this time.

Peter Damm, who moved from LGO in 1969 and became SKD's solo horn player, was enrolled until 2002. The album contained here is a work recorded in 1983, and has already recorded many recordings including Mozart's horn concerto and R. Strauss's two horn concertos Nos. 1 & 2, and stays at SKD. It was a time when the reputation was established as one of the famous performers representing horn players all over the world. In particular, Schumann's Konwitschück was his second recording (the first was recorded in 1961 under the direction of Konwitschny and is on sale at 0301558BC), and was a noteworthy recording even at that time. It seems that no player has recorded this transcendental feat song twice due to the difference in the orchestra, but at that time, it was just after the recording of Tennstedt & BPO at EMI, so it is a recording of the world's horn player as a double-sided recording. I would like to add that it was a topic of particular interest. It may be said that SKD's performance is "soft", while BPO's "Australia", which is mainly composed of Seifeld and Hauptmann. Its beautiful ensemble and musical expression are unrivaled. I think there are still few recordings with the skill and musicality to bring this hidden masterpiece of Schumann to this level. The jacket design this time is not the one for the Sinfonia Concertante released on the 10-inch LP, but the jacket for the stereo LP (Recorded in 1975, "Concerto for Flute and Harp is B-side") when it was re-released in 1976
